Prospective Members Weekend
June 7-9, 2024

The best way to know if the Pelee Club on the secluded Pelee Island, Ontario on Lake Erie is right for your family is to come try it during a prospective members weekend.

Join a group of members for a typical weekend at the Club.

Friday night will begin with cocktails on the porch followed by dinner in the dining room around 7pm. Maybe a  pickerel fish fry (walleye in the US) or pork ribs? After dinner, folks may watch the sunset from the porch (every sunset is different!), make a fire and roast s’mores, play pool or ping pong on the antique tables or go out to hear music at a Pelee Island establishment.

Saturday will start with the House Manager ringing the bell for breakfast at 9am. Coffee will be brewing. Over breakfast folks will discuss the day's activities. Options could be a fishing trip, a bike ride to Pelee Artworks, kayaking, searching for beach glass, floating in the lake or just relaxing on the porch with a book (and maybe taking a little nap).

Around 6pm folks will gather again on the porch for cocktail hour, sharing stories of their days. About 7pm, the bell will ring, the House Manager will serve dinner and the conversation will continue with after dinner activities like the previous evening.

Sunday morning breakfast will be served again around 9am. Depending on departure times there may be time for one last bike ride or kayak tour. Box lunches will be provided for the journey home.

Call or email Juan Santamarina, President, at 513-305-0030 or peleeclub@gmail.com to reserve a spot.

Stay at the club at member per diem rates: $270/couple per night CAD, $245/couple per night USD plus 13% HST and recommended staff gratuity of 12-20%. Children welcome as well; pricing can be provided.

Note, if you join in 2024, the one-time initiation fee is being waved.
